Ragnarok Mobile: Idle Poring [Android] [iOS]

Ragnarok.....tanky Rune Knights......stealthy Assassin Cross.......deadly asura strikes.....EPIC!! Guild Wars........so much nostalgia can be drawn from this legendary mmorpg in the early 2000. I spend a good amount of my time engrossing myself in the world of Rune Midgard and it is a experience well worth it. However, good thing never last. Due to bots infestation and real life commitments, i have to let go of game heavy heartily.

Any other MMORPG that i played afterwards never really filled the void left by Ragnarok. Some MMORPG did come close, but still fell short in the end. However, recently, i had come across this mobile game developed by the publisher of Ragnarok, Gravity Corp. To put it in one word.... satisfaction! This simple and yet addictive Ragnarok Mobile games tick all the box for being a true successor to the legendary game itself. The game itself if self running once you have created a character and the character progression is challenging and yet doable. Time investment for this game is just nice for a working adult like me. To put it into prospective, i can achieve rebirth in one month. 1 hours plus daily game play.

Pro Tips and Tricks time:

1. Power Level. This game is all about Power Level. The higher it gets the easier your progression will be. To get higher power level, you need to do the followings:

• Character level up -  The game are designed with 24/7 Non-Stop Auto Battle System! Even when you are off-line, the battle continues! So what you can do is max your equips and map progression as much as possible before you go offline to max out your coins and exp earning per sec.  
• Job Change - You will have a job change at Level 20 and Level 50. There are several pre-requisite to achieve before you are allowed to advance your job. 
• Learn Skills - You can learn new skill by earning Honor points. Honor points can be earned by completing daily quest, participate in PVP and send gift and stroke your friends. 
• Level up Skills - As you progress in your job level, you will earn stat points to invest in your skill levels. 
• Upgrade Equipment - Better equipment are dropped at higher map. Smelting high rank equipment will yield good smelting points as well. You can forge great equipment using smelting points.
• Refine Equipment - I will refer this as refining equipment slot. The slot that you had refined will remained even when you change the equipment itself. So start early and refine the slot as soon as possible. Slot refining will require a lot of Enhance Metal (you can get it from map raiding), Gold and other specific materials (you can get it from MVP hunting). 
• Equip Pets - You can equip a maximum of 6 pets. The pet slot are open when you reach specific levels. 
• Level Up equipped pets - You can level up your pet by sending them out for exploration. Try out pet combination for specific exploration quest to maximize the chances of item loot. 
• Rebirth - Will reset your character back to level one and start over. However, your character will be stronger. 100 extra stats, your pet level remained and level cap unlock to level 100. You can do 2nd Rebirth and 3rd Rebirth afterwards. 

2. Stuck at MVP or Map mini boss? Tweak your skill around and you will find a break through. Pro tip: Use stun skill to neutralize heavy attack from MVP. 

3. Job change requirement. Pro tip: Start collecting your gems early. Do all daily quest that gives gems and send out your pets to exploration that yield gems. 

4. Smelting points and equipment forging. Pro tip: Always smelt your junk to earn smelting points. Save your smelting points to forge equipment that give you and upgrade of 5,000 Power level and upwards. At beginning of game, save your smelting points for job change quest at level 20. You need to forge 15 equipment. Aim for those equipment that require 3500 smelting points. Refresh if there is none.

5. Pro tip: Rebirth perks and boos!!

GOLD
• You will start with 0 gold after you rebirth
• Before reborn, make sure you utilize all your gold (left 1 million for 200 free gem)

DIAMOND
• diamonds will be carried over (it’s real money value! how can it not be carried over!)

EQUIPMENT (Boo....)
• All equipment including your equipped armor will be smelted into smelt points.

GEMS
• Gems will carried over
• Gems will be unusable until you find items with slots again at the higher lvl

SUIT / SUIT RECIPE (Boo....x2)
• Suits activated in items will be gone together with smelting conversion when you rebirth
• Suits recipe will be gone

SMELTING POINTS
• Smelting points will carry over (you don’t have to keep the points for any job change req)
• Level of items to be forged will reset back according to your level

PET
•Pet level, intimacy, fragments will carry over
•Pet foods, pet potions Explore/Combat will remain
•Pet slots will be reset, to use one pet, unlock at level 30, and at every 10 levels
•BLUE AND GREEN PETS ARE VITAL IN RUNE STONES CREATION

EXPLORATION
• Ongoing exploration will be terminated
• Exploration prize will be based according to your level

MVP
•MVP will be needed to defeat again to unlock artifacts, mvp shards

ARTIFACTS (Boo....x3!)
• Artifacts will needed to be unlocked again by defeating MVPs

REFINE MATERIALS
• Refine mats such as Refine Stones, Oridecon will remain in your inventory
• MVP shards (dropped by Jakk, Deviling, Angeling, GTB, Maya, etc) will be gone

TREASURE MAP FRAGMENT
•Treasure map fragments will remain
•Unlocks TREASURE FRAGMENT DRAW, 1/day

MAP
• Map progress will be revert back to start
• No more MAP CLEARANCE BONUS in QUEST (if you already cleared/claimed it before)
• Advisable to clear MAP 400 before rebirth to unlock Daily Orange Pet Shard

SKILLS
•skills will carry over
•skills SLOT will be back to LEVEL 1

HONOR
• Honor will carry over (Enjoy Triple strafe at lvl 1 hehe!)

RUNES• After Rebirth 1, you will be able to equip Runes
